About the Studio.
The workshop side of Paperbacks & Pixels. Built for authors who want a room to work in, not another course to finish.
The Studio.
The Authors Platform Studio is the membership side of Paperbacks & Pixels — a small group where Julie Trelstad builds tools for authors in real time and runs live sessions on how to use them.
Most marketing tools sound the same because they are. They've been built on templates that compress the work into something generic. The tools here go the other direction: they pull from the specific writer in front of them and return something that sounds like the writer.
Julie.
Julie Trelstad is the founder of Paperbacks & Pixels, a publishing consultancy for authors who want to build careers worth having. She's been in the industry for 36 years — agency, corporate, independent — and trained as an architect before that, which is why she thinks in systems.
She runs the Studio because the questions she gets asked have started to compound. The tools are how she answers the same question for many people at once and still makes it feel particular.
Paperbacks & Pixels.
Paperbacks & Pixels is the parent consultancy. The Studio is the membership-tier version of it — same brain, smaller scope, group rate.
